1, why should add carbon dioxide

Vegetable crops can hardly perform normal photosynthesis, affecting the growth and development of vegetables, causing diseases and reducing production. 2, how to add carbon dioxide

There are many ways to supplement carbon dioxide, and with the advancement of technology, continuous improvement.

(1) Combustion method: By combusting combustibles such as coal and oil in a greenhouse, carbon dioxide produced by combustion is used as a replenishment source. When using coal as a flammable material, it is necessary to select a type of coal that contains less sulfur, so as to avoid the influence of other harmful substances generated during combustion on vegetables.

(2) Chemical method: It is supplemented with a large amount of carbon dioxide released from the chemical reaction after the mixture of concentrated sulfuric acid (need to be diluted when used) and ammonium bicarbonate.

(3) Microbiological method: Organic fertilizer, manure fertilizer and rice straw are added, and carbon dioxide is slowly released as a supplement by microorganisms.

Tests have shown that supplemental carbon dioxide can generally increase the fruit setting rate by more than 10% (soy fruit), improve the market for 7-10 days, and increase the yield by more than 20% (strawberries and eggplant melons). (1) After supplementing carbon dioxide, greenhouses need to be sealed to reduce CO2 spillage and improve fertilizer efficiency.

(2) The use of traditional CO2 supplementation methods depends on the weather conditions and the growth period.
