Multiple welding:

For multiple welds, the first thing to consider is the minimum diameter. We need to align the end faces of the filaments before welding and select the laser parameters. A cover or shielding gas is also required to prevent oxidation or contamination of the weld. A good example is shown in Figure 2 - we can see that there is no significant increase in the diameter of the weld, and the weld is bright and flat due to proper protection.
