Humic acid is a black or brown amorphous organic compound that is hardly soluble in water but has colloidal properties that can improve soil structure and increase soil fertility. Chelating can increase the nutrient activity of phosphorus, potassium, and trace elements. Fertilizer utilization; can also promote crop growth and improve crop resistance. In addition, humic acids also have a sustained release effect on the elements such as nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium combined therewith.

Humic acid fertilizer is a general term for various humic acid-containing fertilizers, and is mainly made of peat and lignite as raw materials and is extracted, concentrated, or converted into a water-soluble fertilizer containing nutrient elements by a certain process. For example, a humic acid-rich raw material is prepared by adding sodium hydroxide to prepare humic acid sodium; a sulfuric acid is added to prepare humic acid; a humic acid raw material is added to nitric acid to make nitrohumic acid; or potassium hydroxide is added to form nitrous acid. Potassium humate; or ammoniated ammonium humate; add humic acid in the production of compound fertilizers or nutrient elements and humic acid to produce humic acid compound fertilizers in the production of basic fertilizers.

At present, humic acid fertilizers are still under continuous development. The quality inspection of products is mostly industry and local standards. The application methods vary from product to product.

Sodium humate national industry technical standard ZBG21005-87 stipulates that the humic acid content (dry basis) of the first, second and third products shall be no less than 70%, 55% and 40% respectively, and the pH value shall be 8.0-9.0 respectively. For 9.0 to 11.0 and 9.0 to 11.0, the water-insoluble content (dry basis) does not exceed 10%, 20%, and 25%, respectively.

The method of application is mainly to mix the solution after pouring, dressing and foliar fertilizer. Among them, 0.05% to 0.1% concentration is used as basal fertilizer, Mushi 200 to 250 kilograms, preferably mixed with farmyard manure; 150 to 200 kilograms of top dressing Mushi, with the water applied or pouring plant roots. The concentration of soaking or foliar spraying before planting is 0.05% to 0.5%, the soaking time is generally 5 to 10 hours, and that of rice and cotton is 24 hours; the foliar spraying should be carried out from the time of flowering to the initial stage of grouting; 3 times.

Ammonium humate According to the regulations of Ministry of Chemical Industry, HG1-1143-78, the water-soluble humic acid content (dry basis) of the first and second products shall be no less than 35% and 25%, respectively, and the available nitrogen content (dry basis) ) Not less than 4% and 3% respectively. The application method and dosage are the same as those of ammonium humate, and are particularly suitable for saline, alkaline, sandy soils and cementitious clays.

Water-soluble fertilizers containing humic acid are liquid or solid fertilizers made of humic acid added with appropriate amounts of NPK, or trace elements. Industry technical standards (NY1106-2006) stipulate that the humic acid content of type I and type II solid products containing large amounts of elemental humic acid fertilizer is not less than 3% and 4%, respectively, and the total NPK nutrient content is not lower than 35% and 20%; the humic acid content of the liquid product is not less than 30g/L and 40g/L, respectively, and the total content of NPK nutrient is not less than 350g/L and 200g/L, respectively. The content of humic acid and trace elements in the trace element type humic acid-containing fertilizer is not less than 3% and 6%, respectively. The content of water-insoluble substances is low, and the content of solid and liquid products must not exceed 5.0% and 50 g/L, respectively.

In terms of application methods, water-soluble solid or liquid products are mainly used as foliar fertilizers, seed fertilizers, or soaking and dipping. The specific method can refer to the product manual, generally diluted 800 times. A large number of elemental humic acid-containing water-soluble fertilizers can also be used for basal or topdressing, but due to higher costs and limited application rates, they should be applied in conjunction with farmyard fertilizers and conventional fertilizers.
