The root system of the diseased plant was also watery and rotted like the base of the stem. The cortex was easily peeled off, and the lignified part of the root system turned dark brown. In wet conditions, white moldy plants grew on the diseased part.

Control measures: 1 Strengthen field management. Cultivate strong and strong seedlings, cultivate high glutinous rice, prevent flooding, and do not make continuous crops. 2 chemical control. In the initial stage of disease, spray 50% carbendazim WP 500 times, or 40% polysulfide suspension 600 times, or 14% urea ammonia solution 300 times to irrigate the roots.
