33 strains of E.coli strains introduced by China Veterinary Microbiological Culture Collection Center

Recently, the China Veterinary Microbial Culture Collection Management Center has introduced 33 strains of E. coli strains from Danish National Serum Research Institute for the preparation of E. coli O antigen-defining serum. The Danish National Serum Institute is the World Health Organization Reference Laboratory and has 180 types of E. coli O antigen serotypes, while the Chinese veterinary microbial culture collection management center has more than 140 species used to prepare E. coli O antigen serotypes. .

At present, the China Veterinary Microbiological Culture Collection and Management Center is conducting lyophilization identification of the introduced strains. After that, the tissue technicians will use it to prepare the E. coli O antigen serotype. After the preparation, the center will have O1 to O186. 180 E. coli O antigen serotypes other than O31, O47, O67, O72, O94, and O122. At this point, the China Veterinary Microbiological Culture Collection Center will become one of the most comprehensive centers for the collection of E. coli O antibacterial species in the world.
