At 0°C, it can generally be stored for about 100 days. 2. The suitable relative humidity for storage of kiwifruit is between 90% and 95%. The fruits stored under this humidity had a full appearance and the color and flavor were normal. When the relative humidity is 80% to 85%, the skin of the fruit apparently shrinks. Although it is edible, the commodity value is reduced. Under the relative humidity of 70% to 75%, the fruit rapidly dehydrated and shrunk, and the fruit could not be softened after ripening. After about 1 month of storage, it completely lost its edible and commercial value.

Storage methods and management According to the needs and storage conditions, kiwifruit can take a variety of storage methods. Trench, kiln storage, etc. can be stored at room temperature for 20 to 30 days, and stored at 0°C to 2°C for approximately 2 months under refrigerated conditions. The storage time of the above methods is relatively short. For the kiwifruit that is planned to be stored for a long time, the effect of limited-air storage and controlled atmosphere storage is widely used in the cold storage during production. The storage period of the Qinmei kiwifruit generally reaches 4 to 6 months. When cold storage, the temperature should be controlled at about 0°C and the relative humidity should be 90%-95%. When using air-conditioned or limited-air storage, in addition to strict control of low-temperature and high-humidity conditions, a more suitable gas combination in the control environment is 2% to 3% oxygen and 3% to 5% carbon dioxide.
