High and low temperature test chamber work is generally divided into two procedures, namely constant temperature work and cycle work. If necessary, the test procedure can be set according to actual needs.

Test procedure for constant temperature operation:

1. Install the test piece according to the working technology state.

2. Adjust the air temperature in the test chamber to the required constant temperature (and humidity when applicable).

3. Continue to maintain the conditions in the test chamber for at least 2 hours after the temperature of the test piece has stabilized . If the temperature of the internal components cannot be measured, additional hot dip time should be determined based on thermal analysis to ensure that the temperature of the entire specimen is stable.

4. Visually inspect the test piece as much as possible, record the test result, and compare it with the data before the test.

5. Make the test piece work and stabilize its temperature. The test piece was tested for performance according to the requirements of the technical documents, and the test results were recorded and compared with the data before the test.

6. Stop the test piece, adjust the air temperature in the test chamber to the standard atmospheric conditions, and maintain the condition until the test piece temperature reaches a stable level.

7. Perform a comprehensive visual inspection and performance test on the test piece according to the requirements of the technical documents, record the inspection and test results, and compare with the pre-test data.

Test steps for cyclic work:

1. Install the test piece according to the working technology state.

2. Adjust the air temperature in the test chamber to the initial conditions of the working cycle as specified in the technical documentation, and maintain this condition until the temperature of the test piece is stable.

3. Expose the test piece for at least 3 cycles, or the number of cycles required to ensure the highest response temperature of the test piece is reached. Perform a full visual inspection of the test piece as much as possible during the cycle exposure and record the test results.

4. The test piece is operated during the highest temperature response period of the exposure cycle (due to the thermal hysteresis effect of the test piece, the highest temperature response period may not coincide with the maximum temperature period of the temperature cycle).

5. Stop the test piece and adjust the air temperature in the test chamber to the standard atmospheric conditions. Maintain the condition until the temperature of the test piece reaches a stable level.

6. Perform a comprehensive visual inspection and performance test on the test piece according to the requirements of the technical documents, record the inspection and test results, and compare with the pre-test data.
